„foreign affairs-arts alliances AUSTRIA – FIJI“

An art-collaboration with Tessa Miller

Concept, co-Curating, Organization and invitation for collaboration by ICW, 2013

The project "foreign affairs-arts alliances AUSTRIA – FIJI" is the fifth art-project from the project-series foreign affairs-arts alliances. Isabel Czerwenka-Wenkstetten/ICW invited for that project Tessa Miller, an artist from FIJI, which she found via the internet. A first personal contact and preparative works took place in January 2013 in Fiji, on the Island Viti Levu near the town of Sigatoka. The principal themes of the art works from the collaboration between the two artists were the terms of being artist with a child or children, of sustainability and the meeting of two artists, living and working nearly on the opposite sides of the world.
